The energy cycles that we are experiencing are not limited to the nature’s seasons. We can have days or weeks when we need to give ourselves the time to re-center. This doesn’t mean doing nothing, but doing things that bring us joy. I used to think that putting my head on the pillow at night and thinking of what I achieved was enough, but I’ve added the thought of ‘What did I enjoy doing today?’ as an equally important success measure for the day.
I haven’t mentioned 4AM in my posts lately because I am far from succeeding at this challenge. But taking on this responsibility helped me identify things that I need to improve on my day to day life. This includes introducing joyful activities as a must on my schedule.
