Believe in Yourself: More than Just a Myth

Have you ever fantasized over someone who comes and recognizes your value and lifts above the crowd? That’s pretty much the typical hero – victim deadly duo. Being a hero means seeing people as needy, while being a victim implies waiting on someone else to take action for you. Self-belief has nothing to do with other people. It’s not about waiting around to save or be saved. It’s about being your best self, which is what any negative self-talk makes it impossible to achieve.

Make a Start

We’ve all heard the saying you got to start somewhere, to which I would add starting is better than overthinking where you start. Time spent not taking action is time wasted which might not mean much in the grand scheme of things, but you’ll probably look back at the hesitation laughing at yourself. Nothing is permanent. You can only improve once you have something to work with.

Following Through with Challenging Decisions

Making the right call is only one part of the challenge, following through with it, without hesitation, can take a lot of willpower. So how do you not go back on your word, even if you’ve only given your word to yourself? By making a point out of keeping your word. This will contribute to your self-esteem and once you’ve followed through you’ll be able to enjoy the process without having the little you trying to take control. You are brave and most importantly, you are powerful.

Encouraging yourself is more than optimism, is a huge part of what makes things happen. Don’t throw negativity at yourself, build yourself up. Through words and action than will get you where you want to be in life. Your coordinates are not fixed. Growth, happiness, wealth – nothing is fixed. Make it your goal to aim up and aim high.

Travelling, eating good food, having a good time… all these are goals that we can easily relate to. But everything comes at a cost and the financial aspect comes second when we realize that time invested in these activities take away from the time that we could be spending growing and impacting the world. So next time you’re laying in bed, feeling bored, remember that this very second is all you’ve got. We only live in the present moment, yet our actions accumulate and create long-lasting impact – either positively or negatively. Not choosing is not an option. What’s your aim?

DEdicate Every Minute of Your Day to Build Up Your Dream

It might sound radical, but when was greatness achieved as a result of sluggish work ethic combined with wishes rather than must’s? If you’re worried that once you’ve reached a goal you’ll have nothing to look forward to, stop. Stop treating reality as an experience that ends without you. You can stay connected, create and be aware for as long as you have consciousness. Allow yourself to live in the present and make every minute worth wile.
