Embracing Who You Are

You want to get ahead. We all do. You are doing more than most people though, you are taking action. That’s great! Envisioning where you want to be plays a huge part of getting there. But take a good look at yourself and accept and embrace who you are in this very moment. Accepting and loving who you are in the now will allow you to build yourself up.

Push Forward

If you open your eyes in the morning thinking that today won’t matter you’re wrong. Every day in the right direction, being kind, supportive and genuinely helpful matters, even when you think that nothing is changing. There are the life’s events that make us think that when we can’t see activity nothing is happening. Progress happens even when you don’t receive appreciation. Those are the critical moments when you need to push forward, work harder and make all the invisible steps manifest into the results you are after.

Caring with Kindness

How often did you lose your temper or words didn’t really form the way they should and you looked for a way out in the intention you’ve set? The intention is valued very little if it’s not formed in an open and kind way. Love cannot be portrayed through negative attitudes as much as we like to lie to ourselves and tell ourselves that that’s alright. It shouldn’t be. Act from a place of love with kindness and you are more likely to get the response you are after.

Self-Worth. Who Can Give It to You?

Let’s be blunt – no one can. Self-worth is the result of decisions and actions that lift us up and allow us to be more than we used to be. If we didn’t exercise at all and we started doing 5-10-15 push-ups a day, that will contribute to our feeling of self-worth.

Self-worth is not a one time type of purchase, it’s more like getting an item that gets out of fashion the next day. We need to reinvest time every single day to be able to experience self-worth every single day. The good news is that the activities that make us feel worthy, also help us grow. And given that we have a set of values that encourages kindness, compassion and positivity, our own growth will reinforce our values and with that, build a stronger sense of self.

the Gift of Importance

We all want to feel valued. Making others feel important is more likely to bring us friends than building ourselves up by belittling people. Since we all have something to offer, there is great value focusing on what a person does well rather than the points that are not aligned with our own stance.

Respect is earned, but is it? If respect is earned, wouldn’t it mean that we always have to prove ourselves to other people? And in that search, aren’t we moving further and further away from our true nature?

Balancing truthfulness with appreciation is not easy, but reprogramming the mind can happen through practice. Our thinking patterns are thoughts that became habits. Habits can change. We can change as a result of that. And we can start by acknowledging that we don’t need validation, but if other people do, that’s fine – we have plenty to offer.

Positive Self-Talk

You know all those negative thoughts racing through your mind? It’s time to put a stop to that. Particularly in the current climate where The Negative is feeding so many industries that are inflicting pain on us, it’s time to stop.

Replacing the negative self-talk with kindness doesn’t happen through the switch of a button, but it is possible. It firstly takes identifying that thought – I’m in trouble, I can’t make it, this is too much etc and then replacing the thought with it’s positive spin. This needs to happen repeatedly before coming close to an automatic reflex.

Every positive thought that we put into the universe and we help ourselves with is progress. When we are constantly told to be anxious, get angry and harm ourselves just through being stresses, we need to step away and rebuild our reality. Panic harms our ability to react rationally and it eliminates chemicals that damage our body. Let’s check in with ourselves and now more than ever practice positive self-talk.
