Change Is Inevitable – Plan for It

Only through setting an aim can we achieve it. Otherwise, regardless if we are doing many tasks, if they don’t amount to something that we are proud of, we will spend our entire life chasing things outside us to make us happy. If you know that tomorrow you will be in a different place from where you were today, both in time and space, in the universe, would you choose where you want to be?

Owning Others

Our brain seeks to rationalize human behavior, forgetting that there are part of us that don’t make sense to our mind. Reactions or actions that don’t align with a script can be stigmatized. They make us feel good and in our right to point at others. And although it might always feel right, it’s never true. We are the masters of our own life. We don’t own our children, partners, friends and family. We only have what we build and are what we grow into being.

Trust the Big You over Little You

Thanks to Pascal Mauerhofer

You have that little voice in your head that tells you rubbish. I have it also. How do you out-think it? You just focus on what you want to achieve to a point where what you are doing matters more than how you are doing. What you are doing will produce results, energy, relationships. It is the action and not the fear of it. So next time you hear that little voice inside of your head just ignore it. It’s not even worth your time. Don’t let your insecurities come in your way to success.

Leading With Joy

Confidence isn’t confrontation or stepping on someone else to feel high. It’s walking with grace knowing that whatever happens you’ve got this. It’s the inner battle, the wishes and the doubts, the effort and the failures that lead to success. They all build confidence when we make sure that we don’t hurt others in the process of getting big. At that point, the illusion of confidence is just that, an illusion.

Focus: Is It That Easy?

Focus is within your control, but what if the people around you see things through a different lenses? Will you lose your vision? People can only derail you by that much, but if the majority of your circle of influence is completely off with what you are trying to achieve, the chances of persisting with your vision become lower and lower. Focus not only on your goal, but make sure that the people you are sharing your views with don’t have leverage on you. Stay truthful to who you are.

Inner Power and Self-Belief: Shifting Beliefs

We often think that there’s only that much that we can do. Only that many practice rounds, that much work, that much time and effort. Until someone comes and surpasses our expectations. It takes one person to break a world record and others will follow. It’s the knowing that makes it possible. Out of all the things you think you know, which one would you like to shift? And what’s holding you back?
